Anima Mundi

Presented during the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York and within the context of the Harmonic Innovation Group in Calabria, Anima Mundi is an open initiative for developers, researchers, and founders working on real-world AI applications.

We are proud to take part alongside the Africa Compute Fund with our ASTERIAE Story dedicated to “Gwandusu & Gwantigi”, masterpieces of the Bamana people (from the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art). Our work highlights the vital need to anchor cultural AI interpretation to verified archival and editorial sources, preventing hallucinated generations: indeed, our experiment showed that a lack of data traceability led the model to infer historically inaccurate relationships between the sculptures.

If you are a developer, founder, researcher, or practitioner working with real-world AI applications, you can join by submitting your application by December 31, 2026: https://lnkd.in/e6-Dv2JV
