XIX COTEC Europe Summit

The XIX COTEC Europe Summit, titled “Rethinking work in the age of AI: Transformation, Opportunity, Governance”, will take place in the prestigious setting of Venice, between Teatro La Fenice and Fondazione Cini. This high-level institutional event brings together European leaders to address the disruptive impact of emerging technologies on the social and productive landscape.

Our CEO and Co-Founder, Marco Cappellini, has been invited by the COTEC Foundation to contribute to this crucial forum. Furthermore, during the institutional sessions on June 17th, Marco will attend the official breakfast at the invitation of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

Organized by COTEC Italy, the Summit will feature the presence of the Italian Head of State Sergio Mattarella, His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain, and the President of the Portuguese Republic António José Seguro. The core focus will be the shared understanding that Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a fast-evolving technology, but a radical paradigm forcing companies and public administrations to rethink organizational models, staff training, and the synergies between human capital and digital tools.

For ArtCentrica, steering this technological transition requires placing human beings at the center. Consequently, fostering soft skills – such as critical thinking, empathy, and teamwork – is becoming increasingly vital for both youth and current professionals. These competencies are proving decisive in ensuring that the adoption of AI remains an effective, empowering asset rather than an overwhelming force.

At the end of June, ArtCentrica will be in Spain for CM MÁLAGA – Culture and Museums International Tech Forum, one of the world’s premier events dedicated to tech innovation within the museum and cultural heritage sectors.

We are thrilled to announce that ArtCentrica has been selected as a finalist in the forum’s prestigious Call for Startups. Throughout the event, we will welcome international attendees at our exhibition booth, where cultural professionals and institutions can experience our advanced solutions for art digitization and cultural heritage enhancement firsthand.

On June 22nd at 5:30 PM, our CEO and Co-Founder, Marco Cappellini, will take the stage as a featured speaker in the “100-to-watch Workshop by EIT Culture & Creativity“ panel. Moderated by Judit Batayé (EIT Culture & Creativity), this international discussion on the evolution of cultural and creative industries will also feature Isaac Dominguez i Falguera (CEO of Escena 4.0) and Zoran Nasteski (CEO of QX).

Back in May, we participated in PODIM 2026 in Maribor, Slovenia, one of the most influential startup and tech events in the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) region.

Attending as part of the prestigious ITA – Italian Trade Agency delegation, ArtCentrica had a valuable opportunity to showcase its cutting-edge solutions merging art and digital innovation to an international audience of global investors and partners.

Our team welcomed visitors to experience firsthand the potential of ArtCentrica EDU and the new storytelling frontiers enabled by AI ArtCentrica Stories. It was also the perfect stage to discuss collaboration opportunities through ArtCentrica Ad Hoc for the digitalization and enhancement of cultural heritage.

Our first time at the PODIM Conference turned out to be an incredibly positive experience! We observed a wave of interest in what sets ArtCentrica apart: driving digital innovation in art and education. Our booth was buzzing with visitors, meaningful connections, and smiles, proving once again that art has no borders.

International Research: ArtCentrica at the AI4CHIEF Symposium

We are proud to announce our participation in the Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for Cultural Heritage and Indigenous Futures.

On Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Track 1 – AI for Cultural Heritage), we will present Paper 5: “The Meta-Body of Artworks: Sequence-Based AI Storytelling for Culturally Situated Heritage Narratives“.

This work, co-authored by Abol Froushan, Cristine H. Legare, Marianne Magnin, and Marco Cappellini, proposes a sequence-based AI storytelling model grounded in the concept of the “Meta-Body of Artworks.”

La Fabbrica della Cultura: Heritage Enhancement at the Biblioteca Vallicelliana

Next Thursday, April 16, we will be in Rome at the Biblioteca Vallicelliana, in the historic Salone Borrominiano, for the official presentation of “La Fabbrica della Cultura” (The Factory of Culture). The event, which will take place from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, is dedicated to the enhancement project of the prestigious Borrominian Complex of the Oratory.

Centrica and ArtCentrica are active contributors to this path of excellence, alongside Altair4. At 11:30 AM, we will participate in the presentation of technological applications, showcasing cutting-edge digital tools – such as digital humans and interactive applications – designed to deepen the exploration of the monumental complex and its precious collections.

Location: Piazza della Chiesa Nuova 18, Rome.

On March 26, Marco Cappellini was a speaker at the roundtable of the InnovaCultura Demo Day – 2nd Edition, held at Cariplo Factory.

The event was the culmination of a journey dedicated to innovation in the cultural sector, aimed at fostering encounters between creative enterprises, tech startups, and institutions. During the roundtable, we had the opportunity to discuss the future of the cultural ecosystem and how digital solutions can regenerate the way artistic assets are experienced.

It was an honor for ArtCentrica to contribute to the InnovaCultura debate, bringing our experience in developing technologies that network creativity, education, and technological innovation.

Our platform ArtStories – a cloud-based environment dedicated to cultural storytelling – was selected as one of the program’s success stories. This initiative already involves the Museo Civico Polironiano and the Museo Archeologico della Valle Sabbia as enthusiastic first partners, confirming the effectiveness of our solutions in heritage enhancement.

We were delighted to participate in the final event of Tuscany X.0, a project that fostered the adoption of innovative solutions and collaboration between the public and private sectors, generating concrete impacts on the territory. The meeting took place on Wednesday, March 25, in Palazzo Strozzi Sacrati.

It was a key moment to share the results achieved and discuss future perspectives, with the goal of consolidating the innovation and competitiveness already set in motion. ArtCentrica after Didacta Italia 2026

It was extraordinary to participate in Didacta Italy, the leading event for school innovation, held in Florence from March 11 to 13. Meeting teachers, entrepreneurs, and friends was an inspiring experience that allowed us to demonstrate how technology can truly enhance human creativity and critical thinking.

The event provided the perfect setting to preview the new AI ArtCentrica Stories, a tool combining storytelling and ethical artificial intelligence. Our new drawing tool also generated great enthusiasm: an innovative feature that allows users to recreate or reinterpret artworks, bringing new original creations to life alongside the masterpieces. 

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to visit us and shared their vision for increasingly innovative teaching with us.

ArtCentrica wins the Creativity Special Track at the GESAwards

Over the past weeks, ArtCentrica has achieved significant international recognition, culminating in winning the Creativity Special Track at the GESAwards.

This award followed a journey of international exchange and growth, including participation in the GESAwards International Bootcamp, a program reserved for approximately 40 EdTech startups from around the world. The bootcamp offered a strategic and hands-on experience, allowing us to work in depth on vision, positioning, and growth alongside international mentors and innovators.

The journey then continued at Bett UK, the world’s leading event dedicated to educational innovation, where ArtCentrica met educators, institutions, and potential partners, receiving strong interest and valuable feedback on ArtCentrica EDU and the AI ArtCentrica Stories.

Winning the Creativity Special Track recognizes the core of our work: creativity understood as design thinking, technological innovation, and educational technology, in service of more meaningful and conscious learning experiences.

This achievement belongs to the entire ArtCentrica team, with the support of Centrica – Imagine more. We would like to thank GESAwards, Cooley LLP, Edtech Italia, Italian Trade Agency, and Bett UK for making this journey so impactful.
